About
My thought process is pretty simple, personal fitness is no longer an option that you will hopefully make time for one day. It’s a must in order to reverse the ongoing trend our society has fallen victim to. So many people spend more time maintaining their cars, appliances and furnishings than they do their own body. That has to change as taking care of yourself should always be the #1 priority.
Some background on me
First and foremost, I am not a personal trainer or tied in anyway to a professional career in the health & fitness industry. My name is Brian Kauke and I have been an Advertising Sales Executive for the past 12 years. Why then would I start a blog on personal fitness? The short answer is because I am simply a guy who has a passion for working out, eating right and learning as much as I can about fitness. All information contained on this site should be used as information to guide you on your fitness quest. Please do not incorporate any suggestions into your fitness routine without first consulting with your doctor or healthcare provider.
What can you expect to get out of this blog? I want to share what it’s taken me over 20 years to learn through trial and error, research and hard work. I’m not looking to promote my professional career or steer you into any particular products or services. I want to share what I’ve learned. What I find fascinating. And what keeps me motivated. I hope to also learn from you on what tips, info and news you can contribute to this blog. I welcome all article submissions and look forward to comments and suggestions you may have.
Promises you can expect me to keep
I wanted to start this blog to share everything I have learned about working out and eating right over the past two decades. Everything I plan to write about will be from personal experience unless otherwise noted. I will give my honest opinions about products, equipment, food, supplements and anything else worth talking about. I can promise you I will not be promoting any product that I do not believe in 100%. I plan to provide negative reviews and information on disappointing results wherever this may be warranted.
I also promise to keep this discussion an open forum of sorts. Like I said, I have been passionate about fitness for 20 years, but clearly that is not enough time to know it all. I’m sure I’ve barely scratched the surface on many topics. That’s where I hope you come in. I am excited to learn anything I can from those who wish to share their experiences on a variety of topics.
